- Shea butter with its SPF of 6 helps to protect your hair from the damaging action of sun exposure. Also, the butter acts as a barrier to the chemical pollutants in the air.

Really like this pomade and love the company and business model but I have a few concerns below please comment on them. Thank you
Air Exposure through Porous Paper: The paper jar’s porosity is the critical weak link. It allows a continuous, albeit slow, ingress of oxygen. This constant exposure to oxygen accelerates the oxidation of the oil and wax components within the pomade.
In essence, even without water or added fragrance:
* These compounds, particularly the oils and waxes, will oxidize when exposed to air.
* Oxidation leads to changes in the pomade’s physical properties: it will become stiffer, harder to work with, and potentially less effective over time.
* A porous paper jar offers significantly less protection against this oxidative process than an airtight, non-porous glass jar.
The absorption of oil by the paper itself is a concrete, observable issue that impacts the product’s quantity, quality, and user experience.

I recently got into natural hair products and this is probably the only one that works. the key is to warm it up in the palm of your hand. after that apply it and style. love this stuff and it’s my new pomade.
